Now in its fourth year, Foundations Live 2019 will see thousands of people returning to Bishop Burton College’s Equine Arena to discover the best the construction industry has to offer.
The event will be attended by a wide range of people from industry and education, including:
Organised groups of students will typically spend 2-2.5 hours on site, with groups arriving throughout the day. Each student will be given an activity pack to complete during their visit, where they will be required to visit exhibitors’ stands to find the answers needed to complete tasks.
Set-up for stands is open 10am-5pm the day before the exhibition and between 8am and 9.30am on the day of the exhibition. Please have your stand ready for 9.45am on the day.
Standard 3m x 3m stands – you will be provided with two chairs, a table and a power source. Non-standard stand sizes / plant – please speak to Joe Booth regarding your space requirements.
Feel free to have giveaways on your stands for both students and trade guests.
A free lunch will be served for exhibitors but please do not eat this in the arena itself, there is a catering facility outside the arena. You will be provided with meal tickets, please try to avoid leaving your stand unattended wherever possible.
Hot drinks and refreshments will be available during the day.
Stand space is free of charge for the event, but we do intend to hold a charity raffle for guests / delegates and stand holders. We would be very grateful for donations for the raffle.
There is no specific dress code but it’s worth considering the sand-based surface of the arena. Feel free to wear construction site attire.
Stand close-down will be approximately 3pm.
Finally, please complete and return your risk assessment form to Joe Booth
